First off, to approach this subject you must understand the science behind ceramic coating. Most coatings can resist any chemical on the pH scale between pH2-pH12. Traditional carwash soaps are usually pH12 being that they are made to aggressively strip dirt off vehicles. Once your vehicle has been coated there is no reason to be aggressive anymore. That defeats the purpose of getting the vehicle coated in the first place. Therefore, if the vehicle is washed with soaps that are pH balanced (pH7) the coating will hold up as expected. So to answer this question of durability, it really depends on the type of coating that was installed, the amount of coats that were applied, and how the vehicle is being maintained.

We offer three different types of coatings that are rated on hardness based on the pencil hardness scale. We offer a 5H, 9H, and 10H coating. The higher the number the more durable the coating.

Average range of durability:

5H = 1-2 Year

9H= 3-5 Year

10H = 5-10 Year

Based on the combination of the type of coatings used and how many are applied we could scientifically say 10-15 years of durability, but again that really depends on how and who is maintaining the vehicle. We have created different concepts based on our 14 years of experience. The recommendations are based on your needs.

We charge different prices per coat based on the prep work that is needed, type of coating selected, how many coats we apply, and the size of the vehicle. There is no way to just generalize the pricing like one size fits all. During your initial consultation we can create a package to suit your budget and durability needs.
